Keks is designed to perfectly evoke this peculiar style, which is fitting since the company that made this game, Igrosoft, is Russian. At first glance, the game has a gorgeous visual style worthy of the finest collection of fairy tales. The game’s humble yet charming appearance is certainly endearing, but can the gameplay hold a candle to Keks’ striking visuals?

Going Down a Treat

The game isn’t designed to be flashy – instead, the subtle use of color and imagery is meant to reflect the humble origins of the folklore from which it draws inspiration. The game’s icons reflect a number of images relevant to many Russian folk tales – a black cat, an accordion, a rolling pin, as well as what appears to be some sort of Kirby knock-off.

We’re surprised that Igrosoft isn’t a better known developer, as through playing and reviewing their games we’ve come to realize that they actually have some really great video slots! Keks is no exception – charming, accessible, appealing to casual and hardcore players alike, and with plenty of ways to win big, Keks gives you plenty of reasons to play.

Aside from the lack of free spins and the low number of paylines, there really isn’t anything negative to say about this game. The use of traditional Russian folklore as a theme was a great choice and we think it gives the game a very unique flavor that sets it apart from all the other games out there.
